The Bahrain chapter of Kids For All Seasons Membership program, Al Hosh Club is open to children between the ages of 4-12 years old and we were given 24-hours to get a first hand experience of the facilities.

Driving up to the Four Seasons Hotel, we were welcomed by our concierge, Duncan who took our luggage and promised to send it to our room.

As soon as we entered the lobby, we were greeted by Veronika, PR Director and Gopal, who is the Kids Club Assistant Manager with balloon flowers for us.  After our mum checked in, we also had to check in. We filled out a special form and they entered it all into the system.

We went upstairs to settled in to the room only to find yet another surprise of personalized cake pops, and gifts especially for us. Our room was a beautiful and spacious deluxe room. With a separate WC, living area with TV, study desk, a huge walk in wardrobe, an even bigger bathroom with separate shower and bathtub and a large bedroom with its own separate TV.

After we finished exploring our room and unpacked, we headed down to Kids Club and were given a tour by of the facilities by Olga.

Located in the bottom level of the hotel, the Kids Club is spacious and has glass windows that allow in ample sunlight. It is divided into different sections, with allocated spaces for arts and crafts, hair braiding, clay-making, henna application, colouring and drawing, face-painting, movies, puzzles, storytelling, cooking, video games and a computer room.

Activities such as swimming, water paddling and kayaking are also available. The activities Al Hosh Kids for all Seasons offer are so interesting and varied, that there’s something for younger children and the older children.

Our first activity was water paddling and swimming with Golda.  For the water paddling, the lifeguards put on lifejackets on us and watched us the entire time we were paddling in the sea to make sure we were safe.

After a quick shower, we headed back to the club to make puppets and enjoyed a movie night.  For dinner, we enjoyed pizza and ice cream at Vento. They have a very good childrens menu and a relaxed family environment.

The next morning, we head down to the breakfast buffet and we were extremely spoilt for choice.  After a satisfying breakfast, we were ready to enjoy another fun packed day at Al Hosh.

We spent all morning in the water, first Kayaking and then splashing around in the pool. They had set up a huge bouncy castle with a large slide that led directly into the water.

We wouldn’t have left the swimming pool, but it was time to have brunch.

After the water activities, we were extremely hungry and thoroughly enjoyed the variety of food available.  We even had our own kids section for easy, non fussy but delicious food.

Heading back to Al Hosh, we had a fantastic time learning to make milkshakes in  Cooking Chef session. We were each given our own aprons and chef hats and given a one to one lesson in making the perfect strawberry milkshakes.

After our delicious milkshakes, we had our own Mini Olympics in the Four Seasons garden. From the egg and spoon race to the sack race, we all enjoyed a great afternoon in the sun and fresh air.

We cooled off back in the kids club by having a thirst quenching juice and cookies, after which we had yet more activities planned.

Next was applying beautiful Henna tattoos and hair braiding, these last two activities were the perfect end to a lovely experience at the Four Seasons.

We truly had an amazing time, not just because of the action packed activities, but also because of the friendly staff.  We were so busy having fun, at Al Hosh Kids for All Seasons, at Four Seasons Bahrain Bay, we cannot wait to visit them again.
