French and Italian-style cuisine, a relaxed ambiance, and famously delicious creamy cakes, since its conception in 2001, Le Chocolat is renowned as one of the Kingdom’s best patisseries. With a wide variety of breakfast (Bahraini and International) options, salads, soups, starters, mains and even drinks, Le Chocolat offers its customers a comfortable and appetising experience. With the Montana Cake already a Le Chocolat signature, the patisserie is famed for their indulgent cakes and desserts, and is adding to its already divine assortment by introducing new flavourful cakes across Bahrain.

Carefully crafted by talented pastry chef, Chef Ziad, who has been part of the Le Chocolat team for 5 years, the new cakes are created using fresh and rich ingredients. The result is soft, moist, and delightful cakes for the customers to relish in after a hearty meal or to satisfy a sweet-tooth.

A favourite amongst those who enjoy dessert but do not particularly like chocolate is the Red Velvet cake. It is made with a beetroot sponge, which gives the cake a vibrant red colour, and filled with cream cheese. Garnished with fresh fruits and dusted with icing sugar, the Red Velvet cake is perfect for the summer.

Made using dark chocolate, the Havana is a wonderful surprise from the first bite. Almond sponge cake layers are filled with crème brûlée, dark chocolate icing and crispy tuilles, which adds a crunch to the soft cake. Making it even more splendid are the Pate a Choux (small profiteroles) stuffed with Nutella, which serve as miniature dessert bites.

A delectable combination of dark and milk chocolate, the Africa cake is named after the African cocoa used as one of the ingredients. With praline biscuits and caramelised walnuts inside the cake and almond crunch on the outside, the Africa offers just the right amount of crisp in every bite.

Truly a visual treat, the Pumpkin Drapée cake is just as ornate on the outside as it is flavourful on the inside. As the name would suggest, the sponge is pumpkin cake with cream cheese and frosted walnuts as the filling, but what makes this cake a marvel is the frosting moulded into a draping pattern. Spray-painted with pink-coloured white chocolate, the frosting is hand folded by the chef and creates a more animated texture. Adding elegant hints to the cake, it is decorated with delicate edible flowers and gold accents.

Adding the Arabesque touch to their cake inventory, Le Chocolat’s Pistachio Nutella Cake offers an incredibly nutty dessert experience. The cake is made from layers of pistachio cake, Nutella, and caramelised pistachios, with a dark chocolate icing and crunchy pistachio tuille on the side. Dusted with gold powder, this cake is perfect for those who enjoy a traditional Arabic taste in their dessert.

Le-Chocolat-1aCombining the two most loved flavours of vanilla and chocolate, the Madagascar cake is a delicious mixture of chocolate and vanilla sponge, with Nutella filling and hidden crispy bites and is named after the Madagascar chocolate and vanilla used to make the cake. Adding elegance to the cake is the gradient chocolate frosting also made using the Madagascar chocolate, topped with chocolate and vanilla swirls.

Designed to look like a lush garden made of fresh fruits and pistachio, The Strawberry Forest cake is the perfect summer cake made with pistachio, fresh strawberry and a mix of pastry cream and butter cream for the filling. The top and bottom of the cake is garnished with pistachios, forming almost a pistachio bed atop which rest fresh summer fruits – an ideal way to start the summer.

A sophisticated combination of flowers and dessert, the Rose cake is a simple yet exquisite cake by Le Chocolat. Rose sponge with cream cheese filling and frosting, decorated with real rose petals, the Rose Cake carries hints of Arabic flavour and is a perfect way to mark any occasion. Le Chocolat’s extensive cake variety also extends to special occasions as the patisserie also creates special cakes for events like Mother’s day, Valentine’s day, National day, and other noteworthy celebrations.

Whether it is the inviting glass display showcasing rows and rows of tempting pastries, chocolates, and biscuits, or the glass door fridge full of spectacular looking cakes that attract the customers as they walk past, the expansive dessert selection at Le Chocolat ensures that every customer can satisfy their needs with something delicious, delightful, and most importantly, sweet.
