Italian Youths Revolutionise Time

Having become one of the top young brands worldwide in a time span of two years, D1 Milano is taking over by storm with their noteworthy watch collection, further solidifying their position in the accessories market not just in Italy, but the world over.

The four founders of D1 Milano started off with a 1000-piece collection initially and haven’t looked back since. They have managed to catch the eyes of celebrities and artists alike. Keeping true to their Italian roots, the four founders – Dario Spallone, CEO and President of the Board of Directors of D One S.r.L.; Alessia Spallone, Chief Marketing Officer; Alessando Pedersoli, Chief Design Officer; Mattia Bodini, Chief Sales Officer – have ensured that their timepieces represent their creativity, ideology and country wherever they are worn.

Their collection so far consists of six unisex watches which are made of lightweight yet durable materials to make their customers feel comfortable and also to reassure them of the excellent quality of the watches. Dario Spallone said in a recent interview that they will soon expand in terms of design, but currently they are trying to raise brand awareness and therefore have the current watch models as their signature.

The watches are not meant to serve as a status symbol, but rather a fashion accessory, and the D1 Milano team is hard at work to make sure their watches become an important fashion symbol through their unique ideas and design. Though Italy has been their main market, D1 Milano has found great success already in countries like Panama, Dubai, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Spallone even said that in the future the Gulf might even become their premier market.

With a fan base of celebrities – known as “D1 friends” since they are not paid to wear the product -, D1 Milano’s expansion plans are taking them to great heights including a deal with Italian luxury watch brand Cipriani for a limited edition watch collection.

Their innovative and new-age ideas have resulted in the creation of a new kind of watch which is an amalgam of fashion and technology. The revolutionary Thermochromic watch changes colour according to temperature, as you turn-up the heat the colour of the watch completely changes. After a year of research on this technology, the watch finally materialised and will be launched on one of the most important fashion platforms in Europe: Milan Fashion Week.

The innovative and stylish team of D1 Milano dived into the worldwide fashion scene head on. Their youthful vision and original creations have earned them the top spot in the fashion-favourites list and has garnered them unprecedented success and recognition in a short amount of time.
