Initially focusing on men’s fashion when it first opened in 1985, the Italian brand Massimo Dutti launched its first women’s wear collection in 1995, followed by a brand of clothing for children under the name, Boys & Girls in 2003.
Keeping in mind the sophisticated city women who are practical, elegant and contemporary, Massimo Dutti women’s collections ensure women can stay true to their own signature style while keeping up with current international trends. Offering a harmonious selection of trends, styles, colours and textures each season, the brand also creates accessories and fragrances for women to complement their look.
Massimo Dutti’s men’s casual collections are aimed at the urbanite and contemporary males. Starting with only producing men’s shirts, the brand has expanded to offering complete lines of men’s fashion from bespoke suits to a more laid-back style. Massimo Dutti also offers a personal tailoring service, which includes selection of material from a wide variety of fabrics, textures and cuts to allow customers to handpick their looks.
This season, Massimo Dutti has taken inspiration from the tinted orange trees and falling leaves synonymous with autumn. Thick wool, muted tones like browns and beige mixed with suede pieces, cord trousers, patterned shirts, denim and leather put forth the true image of the cooler season to come. Together these different fabrics, and inspiration drawn from the 1970s films provide a warm, cozy and elegant look with a hint of nostalgia.
A boho-style collection, the men’s collection is defined by its prints and mix of styles, as the women see a beautiful selection of skirts, long coats, leather jackets and soft fabrics.
